LSU's defense is going to be downright nasty.

Hickey, Stringer, Morgan, Coleman, Hornsby, Martin, Mickey, Quarterman, Bridgewater, Hammink, O'Bryant, Odo

All those freak athletes fighting for playing time.
This is our year!!

O, and Malone who I'm not quite sure about yet, but averaged 25 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks per game his senior season.

I'm excited to see Hornsby play. Really wish he was eligible this season. I didn't realize he could dunk like that at Bayou Madness. I had the impression he was more of a shooter.

Yea, Hornsby is a damn good athlete. I think he has to sit out a year though. not sure.

Yea Golden is gone. I think LSU "COULD" even pass them up. I'd say anywhere from 3-7 is possible. I think 3 or 4 would be awesome.

They gain Stokes who is the best player on the team.

They've got most of their team back from a squad that would've likely been in the NCAA tournament had they beaten Alabama in the SEC tournament last year.

Tennessee's starting lineup during the 9-1 run to end the season last year was

Golden
McRae
Richardson
Moore
Stokes

6th Man
Chievous

This year will be

Barton (Memphis transfer)
McRae
Richardson
Maymon (returns from knee injury)
Stokes

Bench
Hubbs (Consensus 5* freshman)
Moore
Chievous
Davis (frosh)
Thompson (frosh)

I think this year's team is quite a bit better. Trading Golden for Barton, Maymon, and Hubbs is a good trade.

Can't wait for this season, basketball is my favorite sport! Sucks that Johnny got here my senior year though, my tenure of 09-13 were some rough years for Hoops.

Hopefully with the impending turnaround the Student Section gets less "special". I don't mind different kids, but that section was NOT representative of any kind of sampling of the LSU student body and probably contributed to people not wanting to sit down closer as it did with me.

Im a believer in Tennessee. They didn't really lose anyone off a very solid squad last season

Yes, one of the better paid teams year in and year out.

Watched julius randle play in myrtle beach in the beach ball classic where they have the top high school teams and players in the country. Did not think he would ever be voted preseason best player in s.e.c. although a very good player and out played shabaz mohamid just hard to believe. And I think we will do better than most people think. Cant wait, very excited for the TIGAHS!
