Well done, Mickey. Really exciting to have him contributing in the ways he has this early in his career at LSU.

Mickeys going to be awesome for us.

I keep trying to think what player he reminds me of and I cant really think of anybody haha. His length is out of this world. He kinda reminds of a 6'8 version of John Henson just a little bit. Henson has similar length.

Who does he remind you of?

Reminds me of Tyrus Thomas with his incredible timing on block shots. Quick leaper off the floor. Good ball handler. Explosive player.

I'm in that Tyrus Thomas camp, except I think Jordan's offensive game is ahead of tyrus. And as coach Jones has reminded us that tyrus was a redshirt freshman vs. Jordan being a true frosh.

No doubt that he is ahead of Tyrus as far as offensive game at this stage, their build and leaping ability, height, length, long arms are eerily similar.

I'm guessing the blocks gave him the edge. It is an awful lot of blocks
