Does it tell you anything about his ability to successfully press cover a WR?

Slot guy...so Wes Welker for example? Danny A? Antonio Brown?

It's so useless why would you want a defensive player or for that matter a player who is going to use upper body strength to rip balls out or make arm tackles have upper body strength. I see your point now.

You're right, we will have to go back and give the ball back to all the players that he forced to fumble. Obviously his bench press confirms that those fumbles didn't happen.

I'm rooting for the Honey Badger but anyone who says that it's ok for him to only do four reps is crazy. He is 5'9 186lbs. He needs to be at least be strong since he does not have ideal size. However, it is something that I believe he can improve on

Which lineman would you take if they had same size weight and strength but ran two different forties? The faster or slower?

Let's say they play guard

With all being equal, I'd take the faster guy. With Honeybadger's immeasurables and the fact he's always around the ball and making huge plays consistently, I'd take that guy even if he tested equally or even more poorly than the next guy.

Bottom line her ladies and gentleman is the simple fact that he has been out of football for a entire season. Enough time to lose fundamentals and over all football playing strength/shape. Just working on speed, which I very important, will not alone make it for you. He needed to "wow" some GMs and coaches in this combine. The combine isn't the only test he has to face going into the draft but it has it's up's. If any of you think it's not a big deal that he isn't in tip top shape right now are mistaken. In the mean time before the draft he can get his bench, squat and power clean up but he is fighting against others who are possible leaps and bounds ahead of him lbs for lbs. I raise my eyebrow for the reason of him possibly loosing thousands.

You can't be serious.......wel then enlighten us on why every single player in the NFL utilizes the drill....

And save the Dion Sanders, Revis bullshite....TM7 doesn't even belong in the same sentence as them athletically.....

Dude did FOUR!! And he's small and undersized aadn not a NFL burner.......doesn't look good for someone to use a spot on the final roster for a project..

Hope him the best

See, this right here is what separating people.

Same with the Sam quotes. People are acting like losing thousands means not getting a job. Sam didn't hurt himself that much, and TM will get a shot despite his bench results. But missing out on thousands isn't exactly the end of the world, like some are making it out to be, for people making 250+.

It's the typical rant overreaction.

I bet mathieu will be in the top 3 for shuttle and cone drill. That's what separates him from the other boys. BP can always be worked on but to be honest isn't a measure of true strength. No clue on his vert he can dunk. He doesn't need to be a burner this isn't track this is change direction speed and that is what counts FOOTBALL SPEED.

Exactly, lets all remember that we are talking about easily the greatest fumble forcer in the history of the college game. Its indisputable.

And he did it as one of the smallest playaz. NFL scouts did not forget this. Fumbles r kryptonite to even the best teams, even just psychologically. Value like a freekin geauxld nugget. Plus, Ty does have long arse arms, which compliment his lack of height nicely. This talk of his poor bench showin will only make him more angry. Look out!!!
