I know Arden Key made a pretty big remark prior to the game about sacking the QB three times.

However, truth be told, A. Key looked like he was being held all night long and finally got a sack after their Left tackle went down with an injury, which instant replay showed the Left Tackle had his arms around Key.

Thoughts?

Every game
In all my watching of football
I've never seen a guy get held as much consistently as Key does

This. If Cam struggled against Tennessee's player who caused a fumble, Arden Key is way too quick and will pressure the QB all night!

Almost like it's becoming normal and the refs have to look away because if he wasn't held, he would be in the backfield every play.

As a former Olineman and actually ole miss player. He was held almost every play. Tackled about 6 times at least.

I like when he got choke-slammed. You could see Ole Miss' frustration with him.

He gets held every passing play. Once in a while, it's so flagrant they have to call it.

Bama will almost certainly double team him, chip him, or mitigate his speed by moving Hurts in the pocket. I don't see Saban letting Key have an enormous direct impact, which should allow Lewis Neal or others to potentially have a big night.

Why doesn't LSU turn this film in and make everyone aware of these things? Why should LSU just let it happen and say well I'll be considered a whiny B if I say bring it out. It's cheating this guy that is more talented then the others. He shouldn't be held just bc he's better. I'm sure it's frustrating as frick for Key! Then when our DL or OL finally get sick of it and get rough back the flags go flying all over the field. It's nuts

Agree! Bama double teams Key, it's going to free up someone else to wreak havoc in the backfield. Bama did the same to Garrett against A&M and he was still able to get in the backfield.

The big difference is A&M doesn't nearly have the athletes LSU does and we still have exciting players in Duke Riley while players like Devin White and Rashad Lawrence eagerly waiting their turn.
