Have we not learned anything from the fiasco that was the 2013 Texas coaching search? Alleva and the rest of the BOS is doing the exact same things that Texas' Board of Regents did. I have been one of the people saying that letting go of Miles was a bad move from the get go but the way this whole thing has been handled has shown how truly incompetent our AD is. Instead of keeping things internal and making official statements to keep this whole process quiet they have let information leak and the media has blown it out of the water, just like the media always has. It is really embarrassing that they have let this go on for so long and get as bad as it is. This mismanagement has divided the entire fanbase. IF Miles does not go, they have completely sabotaged any chance for our Tigers to have any type of decent season next year. IF he does go, they have lost their number one replacement AND probably screwed the chances for whomever they would have on the board as numbers two and three.
As fans we should all take a long look in the mirror and think about what is more important to us. Supporting the team that we all love or hating the coach of the team we all love thus not truly supporting the team. I would hope everybody could get behind the team and bring back the magic that used to be the crowds our team used to play for, both home and away.

We live in the age of instant 24/7 media. These things just can't be kept totally under wraps anymore.
