People go on the board and voice their opinions about this and that, but most of you don't seem to realize what is going on with the LSU football team. Now don't get mad. Some of you are students so you are spoiled cause all you've seen and heard is LSU wins, wins, wins. That is great, but I have been watching LSU football for about 58 years now. There have been some great teams ! There have been some bad teams but they were always LSU Tigers. Most people don't realize that this LSU team will be remembered 50 years from now. This is special ! I am lucky to experience this in my life-time.LSU won the National Championship in 1958. It was almost 50 years before it happened again. Stop bitching about ever little thing that happens at LSU that you don't agree with and start enjoying what you have got. Possibly the finest college football team in the nation. With that said, I'm looking forward to this coming season. You never know when it may be your last.

Why do you old frickers always come on here moaning about how "our generation" is spoiled and how miserable you use to be watching LSU? Like that's some form of justification to accept mediocrity.

We're in the golden age. Nice. Now don't let the program fall back to what you old people use to see?

Eventually the program will fall back. It happens to every program.

Get over it and enjoy what we are seeing.

Well stated. You've got me by two yrs! I've seen some great times, all three recognized national titles, humiliations by Bryant, screwings by the polls (primarily the ND escapade) and all of the all Americans.

This is definatly the most golden of ages!!

Hope to witness at least 10 more!

I am trying for grad school in a couple of years at LSU..it certainly is a great time to be a fan/student/alumni

Crazy thing is...Next year could be just as good as 2012..Think about it:

Mett comes back
The only tough road game we play is at Bama
We play Arky,A&M,Auburn, etc at home..

It is a golden era of football for LSU, and the future looks very bright as well

Let's make some history! Most home wins in a row. Most wins in back to back seasons. Most embarrassing Alabama loss. Most satisfying USC (east and west) beat down.

Geaux Tigers!
