Gary Danielson just said unlike last years game, the game next week will be high scoring. Was that a shot at us??

The 9-6 game. Its not hard to high score that.

I didn't think CBS was doing the game.

It was my understanding that CBS sold rights to ESPN for game on guarantee they could have it this year, and at night. I might have part of that wrong though...

No CBS gets to pick one game per year to be the primetime game

No CBS has the game. I really don't understand how or why because if so, they really didn't give up anything in return to get it again

Thats not what he said. He said compared to last year's LSU-Bama game the UF-UGA game today is high scoring.

Oh ok. Doesn't really matter.

Last year CBS made a deal with ESPN so that they could televise the 9-6 game at night. In exchange, ESPN agreed and got to have first pick of games 2 times this season (already used). In addition, for LSU to not complain about it, they had to guarantee that November 3 would be CBS' primetime game this year.

I know they pick one, but they declared last year that it was going to be their night game. Is there another part of my post that's incorrect?
