I have really enjoyed your posts and I have to say, I agree with you on most of your takes. Unlike most of the Tiger fans you find here, I think you guys may win this one. Your offense is very sophisticated and is ran by great athletes.
Most people here are getting too caught up in the hype and exitement regarding our defense. Our line is full of a bunch of speed rushers and has not played together yet as a unit. Most of them are talented but unproven. You guys move the pocket very well so I do not believe we will get to your QB very much at all. John Chavis, our DC will be bamboozled by your sophistication and will rely heavily on his supreme talent to make plays in his base defense. Our speed will be used against us with lots of misdirection and overpersuit on screenplays. We will run blitz frequently so we may get caught on a few big plays.
If our offense can somehow find the endzone and our defense can slow you down somewhat, we may have a chance.

Thanks, although I have predicted little offense. I originally predicted 17-14 but I am thinking more in the 20's now because Oregon seems to be finding their offense. It should be a good game and usually I try to bring something to the board outside of flaming.

I do not agree with this. We will not have to get to the qb. We just need to keep him from making plays with his feet. There is such a thing as a coverage sack. They will not be abke to throw on us. U are wrong about the line also. The only newcomer is johnson. Rasco wont pass up any of our current des by the first game.
Laron landry, Patrick peterson, mo claiborne, tyrann matthiue all did very well as true freshmen. No doubt Freak could surpass all if them, he is the real deal. We go from 280 to 300+ at the dt position. Our line has speed rushers. But you firget about lavar edwards, chancey aghayere and we havent seen the best of sam mintgomery yet. Mingo and adams really are our only speed rushers.
All in all ur post sucks and is very informative.

That doesn't make sense. Speed rushing is what kills moving the pocket and screen plays. Smashmouth straight ahead power running and trap blocking is what you use against speed rushing.
Look, our linemen are faster than Pac 12 linebackers and our corners are as big as Pac 12 linebackers. oregon will have some success, they are very disciplined, but they had trouble with Auburn's speed, ours will eventually overwhelm them.

Sweet - your corners go 235? PP7 wasn't even that big.
