Ben McDonald said it best. Hess is so good because he can come in for 2-3 innings and throw the ball as hard as he can. The question will be is whether he can go 6-7 innings every 7 days while throwing 90-95% and still be filthy

Hopefully he will take up the workout regiment that Lange has been on the last couple of yrs. and keep the velocity up much longer, per Ben McDonald....

Dude was POUNDING the strike zone tonight. I too hope he can keep it up through the remainder of the year and translate back to a solid starter role for us next year. Lot of potential in that kid
