Or stop recruiting dual threat qb's when the offense is more suitable to pro style qb's

Can anyone go back to Wisconsin game and see if this is true? To me it looked like we only had 2 receiver patterns and mostly just 1 target for Harris to throw to. Now that could be because Harris will not go through progressions but if that's the case it is a different offense and the playbook is opened up.
Plays are called in a particular order to run the offense into a rhythm, if Harris can't perform the first play correctly then we can't get to the next play and so on. Go back and look at all the first plays called I bet they are very close to the same formations. They just execute better with DE in and so we can build to the next play. Now they need to call better sequences and if they are hitting for 5 to 7 yards rushing stay in that and when you get to the 40 or 50 use PA. We need to call less trick plays in obvious times. We should pick our times better but still do it. The point is to keep the D on their toes not just throw just to throw, create a rhythm while confusing the opposition. Etling is the real deal!!!!

Solid write-up by Ross.

This staff's responsibility is to find and/or develop good quarterbacks. The shite offenses we've put up with in light of this revelation are absolutely intolerable.
The staffs responsibility is to win games.
Some of the most potent offenses in lsu history have been Miles coached teams.

Maybe we should stick to transfers. Let other coaches teach them route progressions and how to read Ds and then we use them to win. Our coaches obviously cannot teach QBs how to grow.
You have no idea what youre talking about.
Cam is considered a great qb coach.
He has been here for 3 years. 2 of the 3 years he was dealing 1st year starters that were also young. The one year he had a qb with experience our qb play looked great.

You have to realize that during Miles' tenure, nothing positive is because of miles. Its in spite of him. Yet every thing negative ( 2 uncharacteristic fumbles for example) is all on Miles because he is the head coach.

he started the peach bowl in 2005 but missed the SEC championship in 2007 so 11-2 is correct
And missed the middle Tennessee state game that year. RP started and it was a blow out. He went 20-25 or some shite.

This is false though. They have recruited both. RP and Brandon harris are the only dual threat qbs to start under Miles.

Starter or not Brandon has been in this system for 3 years and shouldn't be regressing. Period. He should have learned how to read and react to a D at least. not just look for 83 or 15

could have fooled me. He has been coaching since 1986. What QBs of his are so great not named Rivers or Flacco (if you consider flacco great)
Also, Cam was fired from Baltimore in 2012 for the O being too inconsistent. He admitted that. That team won the Super Bowl. Cam is WAAYYYYYYY Over rated.
You, Rickdaddy4188 dont know what you're talking about.
Also, i think you thought i was serious about transfers. That was sarcasm. the rest was serious.

I don't think the knock on Miles is the offensive system not fitting the QB coming out of high school. I think the problem is the roster isn't stacked and developed with a solid 2-deep of experienced ready talent at OL, TE, and FB when you want to run power football. Last season was the perfect example of that. How Miles ever got into a position of needing to rely on true freshmen at TE, OL, and FB in the most critical division stretch was the failure in recruiting and development.

One of Etling's best traits is his progressions — based on post and pre snap reads — through his receiving options. It has resulted in a spreading of the football. He’s targeted 10 different players in seven quarters of football. That’s just five fewer than Jennings targeted in all of 2014, according to ESPN, and seven fewer than Harris targeted in all of 2015.
THIS and better accuracy are what really jumps out to me.

Yeah, if Les keeps fumbling and committing costly penalties, he might need to ride the pine for a while.
