Based on losses to teams with less talent than him at Houston. He lost to Navy, SMU and Memphis.

Texas is a difficult place to coach. They get some good kids but Attitude? UH kids are thankful to be able to play. UT alumni are a different bunch to deal with too. Charlie Strong was arguably more established and winning at a higher level and couldn't pull off the transformation at UT. I wish him the best but he may want to stay at UH
