That second quote is pretty true though.
I will both laugh and cry if Jimbo gets a million dollar raise, Les is run out of town for $15 mil, and LSU ends up with some up and coming g unproven guy that was the 3rd option.

Bama had been turned down by coach after coach...Rich Rod was one of them. Looked like they were going to have to settle for a no name, and then they connected with saban.
