The following is my opinion so some of you may want to stop reading now.

Here is a possible strategy that Miles is considering. The drug test was an LSU test so LSU has the power to suspend the players how ever many games they want (or not). Miles will suspend them for the Auburn game and see how it goes. If it goes really well, then he may suspend them through the Bama game. If not, then it will be only the one game suspension. Either way, Miles has done the right thing ethically. So it would come down to what is best for the team as a whole.

By now, I think we should all trust CLM. He has a proven track record of doing the right thing.

WTF does that mean? We could be Auburn 80-0 w/o those 3, we would still need all hands on deck vs Bama

Miles will suspend them for the Auburn game, and regardless of how it goes will reinstate them for the Bama game.

Actually, Miles has options. For example, he could have them ready for Bama and not start them as a punishment -- but have them ready in case injuries or something requires their need to play.

I think this is why Miles is remaining quiet. He has options and doesn't want to reveal them.... to the media or the players.

If les keeps them suspended for Bama, then people will stop worrying about what the players are smoking, and start wondering what coach is smoking.

I am sick and goddam tired of every dipshit who has a random thought about this crap spewing their ignorance about it. Strategy?? How can there be a "strategy"?? If a one game suspension is warranted, then a one game suspension it will be. It 2 games are warranted, then 2 games it will be...NO this is not a blessing in disguise because the 3 guys get to "rest" for the Auburn game, as others have indicated. Suspend them for the Auburn game and "see how it goes"? What kind of dumb shite is this? Seriously. Next time you have a thought....stifle it.

And yes, I mad.

1. Nobody knows if this is the 1st or 2nd failed drug test.
2. The LSU policy on drug testing does not explicitly state that a failed 2nd drug test requires suspension in the next 15% of countable games. In other words, if this is the 2nd failed drug test, Miles could suspend them for Auburn, bring them back for Bama, & suspend them for WKU, & still follow the LSU policy.
