Send him the Texas -ND game QB highlights and tell him we want something close to this.To early to pack it in ,but Harris must play better.

Why are we always defending Harris? It's ridiculous. He really just isn't all that good nor do CC help in that respect. A fricking freshman QB at Texas made several seasoned qb's look pedestrian. He should've grown up last year but has actually regressed.

Send us ND and Texas' OC first..

and HC..

Harris can play in those offenses IMO.

Honestly? Get him some weed or something. He struggles under pressure. He just needs to relax.

Really?

Because it doesn't matter who the fricking quarterback at LSU is.. they are going to struggle because of the coaching and the playcalling..

Why are we constantly bashing Harris? and blaming everything on him?

Harris looks best when we spread the field and let him run and gun. See the Mississippi St game in 2014 I was just posting about.

You take a spread QB and try to make him something he isn't.. and you blame him.. and say he sucks.. yet if took Harris and put him into a different system he would be a much better college QB.

There is a reason Herman personally recruited Harris to Ohio St.. If Herman can take a 3 star qb and make him a possibly heisman contender.. he can absolutely make success of Harris.

Miles flat out sucks with QBs.. even back to the Hatch days and the 2 freshmen QBs. It takes them till a senior year before the even remotely have passing success.

So yeah, we defend the players when they aren't even put into position for success. I don't believe Harris deserves the amount of hate he is receiving. Not in the least.. but it's whatever. Put someone else in and see what happens.. if that will appease you.

Proof that our retarded fan base just doesn't understand football. Both of those teams spread the field and played in the shot gun. You're asking Harris to do what they did out of the eye with 2 receivers in the field, likely starting from play action.

He played in those style offenses in high school and thrived. This system is a qb killer. We have seen that over and over again. Stop blaming the QB, it's the system and coaching that needs to be changed.

Fire miles and Harris is likely an all star.

We've had a laundry list of talented kids that aren't good here, what's the 1 common thread?

I am convinced that if Miles and Cam watched that game that thought to themselves that that isn't real football.

I see it makes you feel better about yourself to say that.

I'm failing to understand how it's coaches fault Harris threw the int last throw or tossing it over recvrs heads or down in the dirt.

He's just not that good. You should come to grips with this.

Harris doesn't look best in the spread. We spread Wisconsin out sat and Harris looked lost. Same against Arkansas ole miss and tamu last year.

Btw, he would look like shite as a true freshman under Miles here...

Don't you understand that much?

That's the whole point..

Some of his better throws came out of play action. One would have been a TD if the CB didn't grab dural.

His best games came when LSU was up by two scores or getting blown out. The only game he performed when the pressure was on him was against UF.

Harris has his flaws but the offensive problems have much more do it with what plays we run and when they are called. We didn't run a three receiver set until the second half. There isn't a QB in the NCAA that will have success throwing to two routes against five DBs in obvious passing downs.

Our best passing play was the WR flare because we recognized that the DBs were playing ten yards off the entire game. Our QBs have to have the option to throw that ball on every play until the DBs play up. Once they step up against Dupre and Durrel, the whole field opens up. But we don't do that.

The offense debacle on Saturday was 90% on scheme and 10% on execution.

When did we "spread Wisconsin out" on Saturday? I don't remember seeing a single four receiver set.

Harris was unbelievable in High school. He's a good QB in a very bad offensive system. That's on the coaches.
