I did a search and couldn't find the exact information I'm looking for. I have been to games at Tiger Stadium but I am usually riding with someone else. Where would be a good place to park this Friday? I don't mind paying some but would like to keep it $20 or under. We'll have 3 small kids so I would like to avoid dodging a lot of traffic. Any suggestions? What time do I need to plan to get there? I'll be coming from Alexandria, what is the best road in. Sorry guys, not real familiar with the area but would love some help to make 3 kids first Tiger Stadium experience as great as possible.

Campus should be pretty empty Saturday since we play on Friday.

Just park in the grass by Walk Ons. It's free.

I'll guess you're coming from I49? Exit on Nicholson off of the bridge ... stay to the right off of the bridge and then turn LEFT at the light (4 lane, this is Nicholson). There's parking along this road further down ... typically $20 or so. Not sure how to tell you to get to Walk Ons if you're coming from the direction I'm speaking of as they usually allow only parking pass holders onto campus after a certain time and I can't tell you what that time is -- it seems to vary depending on what they feel like unfortunately.

As far as time, it's always a crap shoot. If you want to show your kids around campus, watch the band march down the hill, see Mike's cage, I'd say get there by 11? But again, traffic is unpredictable from week to week.

Hope they have fun!

Keep an eye out for a time line of activities ... LSU will put it out and someone will post it on the Rant.

No problem. Have a great time. And idk how old your kids are but being the mom that I am, make sure they have enough stuff to stay warm. I've seen parents have to leave due to their kids not being able to handle the weather!!! Our kids are older now and know to pack what they need as for us leaving isn't an option!

Safe travels.

They're 6 and 7. Yeah, that is good advice. Thanks for the reminder.

Another fyi: Our seats are in the south endzone. I froze my arse off on Saturday due to the wind (think it was mid 50s, dropped to upper 40s) ... the only reason I didn't bring a blanket was a wet nasty blanket is as bad as no blanket. No rain for this Saturday -- I'll have headband, scarf, coat, gloves, and a blanket.

I'm a wimp. But I'm a loyal wimp that stays the whole game, weather no matter.
