I've been out of BR for years now and I've forgotten...when does the pregame radio show start? Is it 2 hrs before kickoff?

yes 
however, 98.1 (WDGL) with Charles Hanigriff starts their own pregame 3 hours before Hawthorne starts... so you actually have 5 hours of pregame if you're that hardcore like me...
