We had TM7 and Brooks rushing on the outside. Hatcher drops back covering the slot. Both tackles stay back and we end up rushing 2 DE and 2 CB on that big Bama Oline. I guess speed beat size on that play.

Also note that McCarron folds up in the fetal position with no contact! This is the definition of choking under pressure!

I did notice that, he just assumed that he was going to get hammered..didn't make an effort to go forward or throw the ball..
we wore em down!!

from the stands it looked like a 3-man rush, which I was awestruck by considering how much pressure they got so quickly.
still pretty impressed with the 4-man rush and how they did it.

Ron Brooks blew by DJ Fluker and McCarron was never able to set his feet. It was pretty creative(and gutsy) and it worked out perfectly.

Was smart. They knew it would be a deep drop. Made me think that maybe Trindon as a DE might have worked! ;)

Even better, Edwards lines up on the center, and has Trent out of the Backfield, first covers the draw, then the drop-off. Brilliant!

Man... do you see how perfectly centered our kicker hit the ball? The goal posts could have been a foot wide and I think he still would have made it!!

Bama accounted for Lavar Edwards who was a spy on Richardson.

I think Chavis has gotten a little gun-shy about blitzing Mathieu. He probably feels that everyone is looking out for it, so he keeps him dropped back into coverage a good amount of the time now.
Lots of teams know that Trent Richardson is getting the ball, but they can't stop him. I don't think other teams can stop Mathieu when he's blitzing. Keep sending him!!

Just noticed that Bama had 10 people in the box on Ford's run in OT.

Hey RST, youre everywhere. How do I get 2 tix for WK game Saturday?

McCarron could have spun out and thrown the ball downfield the way Eli Manning did on 4th down in play off for Super Bowl and made pass that NY Giant receiver caught on top of his helmut.

Initially i was surprised to see him go down with so few LSU players around him but I have come to realize that he was exhausted and the emotional toll of figuring what was coming at him next finally caused him to cave.
