It wouldn't be postseason baseball in Baton Rouge without weather delays

I watched the news this morning and they said it'll be spotty for the next seven days but no day is a complete washout. But we all know how accurate the weather gurus on TV are.

Wouldn't feel right to have postseason at The Box without garbage weather

I'm out of town till sunday. I'm hoping we get backed up a day or 2 so that I can see us win the regional

However, I'd rather miss it then see a winner take all game.

I think we will get pushed into a Monday final at the very least.

I don't know what's worse, regional weather delay threads and NCAA incompetence or hurricane prediction threads?

Well, whatever the deal, we have a week to make ALL plans...hopefully our admins can have their shite together with contingencies and avoid embarrassment.

Maineri's learned over the years to play the early game on the first day when given the opportunity, because it will most likely be delayed due to weather. It's better than playing extremely late Friday night or having to play two on Saturday.

The host team decides which time slot it wants to play its first game.

Should be relatively straightforward without the University of Florida involved.
