Have any players, either past or present, come out swinging for Miles this time?

I like the guy but the silence from players makes me think that this time is not like the others when he was up against it.

The players are coached to remain silent. Ironic eh?

The fact they aren't talking is a good thing IMO. Idk what's going to happen Saturday but if I had to bet I'd say the players are going to come out fired up for Les

It's fair to think there is not a serious threat yet for Miles.
The rant and a local writer or two is not a serious threat.
We'll see after the season concludes.

Yeah, I agree with that. Seems like every time we get near this point with Les, the players come out swinging in a big way and all is forgotten until the next big letdown.

The closer we get to the game the more I think LSU is going to win.

I imagine they are immune from the premature coaching change talk. It's all very premature, but it seems we always have a week or two when this happens.

I'm sitting at 50/50 right now. By 2pm Saturday I'll be at 70% with a healthy buzz

Jacob Hester was supporting Miles big time on a local sports show last night in Shreveport.

Les Miles has 7 of LSU's 14 10-win seasons. He's arguably the greatest coach in LSU history... And you're going to fire him?-@JacobHester22

It would be a crushing blow to me and for our university to get rid of Les Miles - @JacobHester22

Not even close to an accurate description of the heat that is on Miles. And, if you think the story The Advocate ran was just one writer putting out unsubstantiated conjecture then you're not very sharp. The fact that LSU's hometown newspaper ran the story gives it more credibility, and, as may well have been an intentional leak by the athletic department.

The talk about the pressure on Miles has also made national news yet no one from LSU has stepped forward to denounce the story.

As a fan you don't have to like it, but the story is real.

What!?! So because we played one year as freshman under Saban, 07 was his title? We grew for three years under Les.

Awesome!! Just so you know, Mettenberger was also at LSU for 3 years. It is really dumb for some LSU fans to try to discredit that title under Miles.

Jacob Hester defends Miles on his radio show. Heard him say just last week that he thought Miles was one of the top 5 coaches in College football.
