on a first year coach? Have the fans become so intolerant that they cant give a guy even 1 average/mediocre season, before calling for his head?

Most fans don't support a team that hired a failed D-line coach.

Has any college program the level of LSU hired a coach so unqualified for the position as LSU did?

The guy is 24-30. He deserves the pressure because he has not shown he can be a competent head coach.

He was hired to improve on Miles's 8-10 win/mediocre bowl plateau.

Why can't you idiots get that through your heads?

Or are you trying purposely to shift the narrative?

When 50% of the fans hated the hire, 25% were wait and see, and only 25% were on board, you are going to have a harsh reaction when the new coach shits the bed against the doormat of the SEC West.

You earn support by winning and demonstrating a basic level of competence. You don't earn support by losing to Mississippi State in historical fashion.

Yes. See Texas/Strong, Michigan/Hoke, Bama/Shula. Weird how 2 of those are homer hires, big fails. Hmm....

Folks would be much more willing to give Orgeron time if he were a proven HC with at least a winning all time record.

This first year coach flunked his audition last season and yet our idiot AD hired him and gave him a 12 million dollar buyout. Our treatment of him is justified.

I can assure you MSU is not the doormat of the West this year. Mullen is a damn good coach and we produces a damn good team about every 3 years. if he had more depth I would say he would have a damn good shot at winning the west this year and if they go injury free it might happen.

last week was the perfect storm for MSU and they fed off of the crowd and off of the stupid mistakes LSU made on both O and D. but they are fundamentally a very good team. they don't have the 5 star DBs we have but their OL is better than ours and so is their DL when we have our two best guys on the bench due to injury.

O is going to have to win an away game vs a ranked opponent to get any respect, even then he will not get much from some fans that just hate the guy.

If this game goes sour I might be on board with them. No way Cuse should come close to winning this damn game, I don't give a damn how thin we are on the DL. It's time for excuses to go away and start winning games he probably shouldn't. When you see that he hasn't won a road SEC game that's concerning to say the least. And I'm an O supporter. He has to do something he isn't expected. The penalties MUST stop. I'm never going to bash the HC at LSU unless there is a consistent reason which there hasn't been to this point at LSU. To me his OM record means nothing. A man can learn

Mullen and MSU ain't half bad, but don't forget LSU is the most penalized team in the conference

O didn't prepare this team for this season
