their attempt to bring consistency to the LSU brand has done the exact opposite with toonces
All the media uses toonces, there is an eye at midfield, there is a different logo on the helemet, all nike and sideline gear uses the eye, baseball uses interlocking LSU not in Geaux Font

I beg to differ. But that's your prerogative.
The point is the constant changing is confusing and on top of it, looks desperate, incohesive and awfu. But then again, I'm sure you rock a toonces LSU hat sideways. You know, the one with toonces wearing a backwards LSU hat.

Please email athletics@lsu.edu regarding your concerns about the LSU logo.
It boggles my mind too about LSU's thought process regarding logos and additions and improvements. They are simply out of touch with reality.
I met with a person from the marketing dept last year and honestly they think toonces is the best thing ever because it has sold the most merchandise. A strong campaign has been launched since then so hopefully they got the word a few fans are upset.
The more people let them know the better.

Toonces is one of the worst logos ever created. I REFUSE to buy anything with that shite on it. The helmet logo is my favorite.

Toonces is an embarrassing childish logo. I will say again what I have always believed - have the LSU administration introduce at halftime of a big home football game, the individual(s) responsible for approving of the toonces logo. Let's see how the crowd reacts. Every LSU fan has his/her logo preferences, but no other logo is so hated & controversial as toonces.

Agree. I hate the whole "we've got to update this" attitude. Our traditional logo and unis are great just as is. Leave them the frick alone. I even hate the Pro Combat unis, of any team.
Like our flavor-of-the-week baseball unis during the Smoke era, particularly the mostly black ones?

I've seen a modified logo floating around in some of the shops like the Co-op and Bengals and Bandits. It features a modernized take on the helmet tiger over "Geaux Tigers." It's not outstanding, but it's certainly better than the SNL kitty.
