Bregman
Sheppard
Simmons
Fournette

All consensus #1 guys and maybe Fournette will come closest to being a significant part of a title-winning team next year.

Maybe we can save Fournette by getting rid of Miles

Ok, so Sheppard may have been #2 instead of #1. Don't remember that well.

Bergman went to Omaha.
Shepard made it to the ship. Has NFL career because of position change at LSU.
Simmons is 5 games in and YOU have given up on him.
Fournette is Soph and most likely gets invite to New York and YOU have given up on him.

But your post count keeps going up doesn't it.

You think they go more than 1 game deep in the tourney?

This is like therapy... just piling on the misery train so we can all let it go and be really thankful tomorrow.

If you don't know how to correctly spell his name he's not a #1 player.

Did I miss LSU riding him to victory some time?

Maybe more on Jones than Simmons.

He's like Luke Skywalker... our only hope.

Of all the irritating af threads i've read in the past week or two, this one might be the big winner.

Watching Shepard's high school lights, they were great no doubt, but LSU didn't run anything anywhere CLOSE to what would have made him successful as a QB. He would have thrived in a Rich Rod, Gus Malzahn, or Chip Kelly offense, but LSU was all wrong as a QB prospect.

He should have been told that he was a WR prospect when he was recruited. This is the problem with us recruiting best player available instead of guys that would build depth and what we needed.

Even as a WR for 3 years, he was never natural. He should have gone to a run spread program.

Fournette is great and will only get better in a balanced offense. Right now in his career he has 2616 rush yards (6.14 ypc) 27 TDs, 293 receiving yards (13.9 ypr), and 625 KR yards (26.04 ypkr) 1 TD.

He will surpass the LSU single season rushing record next game (in only 11 games) and likely the LSU single season rushing TD record as well).

If he ONLY duplicates his success in these 10 2015 games next year, he will finish in his career with 4198 rush yards 44 TDs, 35 recs 459 yards, and 1 KR TD. That would put him smack dab in the LSU elite RB AND overall player club, and he will have done it in only 3 years which makes it even more impressive.

I think he blows up against TAMU for 200+ and 4 TDs and then goes for 150+ more and 2-3 TDs in the bowl game.
