He can't sign with aggies until he does. Haven't heard one way or the other. Hope they don't wave the buyout.

We not getting that. We'll continue to be a pain in his arse, though.

I saw him at the albertsons on bluebonnet and Burbank Friday evening. He's still in town.

Good riddance. Let the old turd go lose several games per season in the last minute for A&M.

In just the last 3 seasons Chavis' masterful defensive mind could not stop Bama on the last drive of the game TWICE, he lost to Clemson after giving up a 4th and 17 on the last drive, he lost to ND in this year's bowl by giving up a drive to set up a FG with no time left, then there was the debacle vs. UGA, he almost gave up a game winning drive to Ole Miss this year and to A&M on the last drives. If anyone can't see a tendancy for Chavis to play super soft in the last minutes of games is just blind. The Aggies are in for a rude awakening.

We lost 10 games during his tenure at least in part to 3rd and Chavis. 2 of the last 3 to bama. Res Ipsa Loquitur.

Again, I am still wondering why A&M won't pay it. They wanted him so badly and they have plenty of money, that is a drop in the bucket for the revenue that school has off its football program. I suppose they don't want to pay that to a rival SEC West school, regardless of the circumstances.

We should forgive the buyout and thank him and am for his exit. Addition by subtraction and addition by addition. Rare double play.

Really, are the contract police going to keep that from happening?

I think he should pay up. Talking to Sumlin just before our game was about to kick off shows you were't putting your heart into it. You were already mentally in College Stat.that comes with a penalty in my opinion.

Even I'd they pay it, they would have to show it as income to him which would promptly get his arse taxed @ 40% minimum.

We also won numerous games despite having an offense ranked near the bottom of the country.

I'm really surprised LSU isn't pursuing this 400k buyout with vigor. LSU is about to get slammed with disastrous budget cuts and can barely maintain what they have

TAF won't allow us to lose coaches over money. If it got to the point of needing to pitch in some dough so we don't have to make a paycut for coaches, they will.
