I think it should be ok to criticize a players performance at LSU....we should even be able to criticize a players reaction to criticism. But, I think it is worth remembering that BH is after all a young man who is in college. Think back....you remember what it was like. Be critical of his performance and his reactions ....but have patience with him as a person. He is....after all....a YOUNG man.

When you step into the starting quarterback role at LSU, you have to grow up fast. Like it or not, there is a higher bar set as a result of assuming that role.

Don't care. A poor attitude at 20-22 usually means a poor attitude at 40. Or at least that's what I was taught by my pops.

He has time to win his job back. But he has to do just that...win it back. It can't be handed to him anymore.

He needs to grow up for sure, it's tough to give it your all and have a below-par coaching staff hint you're the reason for the losses. I'm all for disciplining the kid and setting him straight.

Can not however let Miles and his staff get away with their terrible coaching.

A higher bar for the QB at LSU? Relative to what, the bar set for the QB at Army?

What Miles is guilty of is holding the team back by being fsr too loyal to Brandon Harris. It was obvious last year that Harris wasn't the QB LSU needed.

Maybe, but there aren't many 20 year olds that have their career crushed in such a public manner either.

None of this is really an excuse for Harris's attitude at the moment, but it should give you pause before you write him off for life.

A higher expectational bar. We have a passionate fanbase who expects to win at a high level. You get the glory but you also have to be able your fair share of abuse when things don't go your way. So, yeah, much higher than the bar set for the quarterback at Army.

Should have used the sarcasm font. I was just dissing on the overall QB play for the last 10 years.

It doesn't mean you write someone off for life but it is a glimpse into their mindset. Social media really brings it out of people.

I understand what everyone means by these kind of comments, but very few can even come close to relating to his situation. I'd like to see him handle it better to say the least though.

Just to keep this in perspective...there are 18 year olds doing their job dying across the globe to protect the freedom of a 20 year old's right to play a game and propensity to react like a child when the game is taken away...

Pardon me for my utter lack of compassion.

IMO, it's very difficult to judge how good a QB is or could be in Miles' offensive system/trap. He constantly puts his QBs in bad situations with his lack of imagination on offense.

Crushed by whom? I'm not sure why I should feel sorry for Harris. If he can't get the job done, then he doesn't deserve to start. That's not a personal attack on him. The same rules apply to Etling or any other player.
