Not clicking all of those links... Not sure what you are trying to say here...............IMO LSU 2011 beats fla in both 2006 and 2008...FLA and Oklahoma were not even the best teams in 2008...USC was just unreal good that year........ IN 2006 at the end of the year...LSU was a better team IMO.. Yes FLA got lucky in the reg season matchup with LSU making a couple crucial mistakes.. But to be honest that year... If they played 10 times LSU wins 8....

Even most of the talking heads at the network that allegedly hates all things LSU said the Tigers were attempting to cap one of the greatest seasons of all time. Several, including Corso and Herbie thought that it would be considered #1. Instead, all that came of it was the beginning of the ongoing narrative that Les can't beat Saban, though going into that game he was up 3-2 over Nick.

Those are screen shots of sim games between 08 UF and 11 LSU UF won every game. USC AND lsu were so much better thay won zero titles those years. 2006 UF blewout OSU and UF 08 held the highest scoring offense in NCAAF history to 14 points. This guy...... :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

1 loss Big 12, which the computers had ranked as the toughest conference that year, Champ OSU was fricked not being rewared the game...LSU was fricked having a rematch with team it beat on its on home field...
Because of the media's, especially ESPN, love fest with Saban they voted Bama in and because of it now we have this 4 team playoff circus...

I agree with this... BUT Beating Okie St. was no lock IMO.. They would have been by far the best offense LSU would have played that year....YES even better than Oregon.....

Had Williams not stepped out of bounds we would have beaten bama 13-6.
Had? That's a mighty convenient had. Bama could play the had game that day as well: Had Bama made just 3 of their 4 missed FGs then we would've won 15-13, right?

I love how in Gumpland 45 to 52 yard field goals are "gimmes."

Never said they were gimmes...just playin' the same "had" game your friend was playin' when he assumed LSU should've had a "gimme" TD had Williams not stepped out of bounds...

But we didn't win let's not live in a fantasy world bro. Worst post of the year.

Just where in the "Had Game" rules does 1 Had for us equal to 3 Hads for you? Is this the same logic you use in counting NCs?

Ask your friend, he made up the rules, I'm just playin' along...

Apples and oranges...you assume that just because Bama claims 15, all Bama fans do. 1941 is a joke...other than that, while I can make an argument for the other 14, I'm comfortable with any number between 11 and 14...

Bull shite. People realize how great that LSU team was. If they don't, their loss.
The national narrative doesn't talk about that LSU team at all, except to point out they were there as a defense against us firing Les Miles. That's it. Nothing about how they beat the eventual national champs and destroyed the Rose, Orange and Cotton Bowl champions.
Instead we are barraged with "Saban's Four National Championships".
Never mind that Bama needed overtime losses by other teams in other conferences to even get into either the 2011 or 2012 game. Just like nobody at the national level even mentions that without Arkansas' miracle 4th & 25 in overtime vs GTHOM, Bama doesn't win the SEC this year.
You see, with Bama, it's never luck, it's "pluck and courage". Or "tradition". Or "The Process". To them, Auburn is the "lucky" team, even though Bama has benefited way more from lucky breaks than any team in college football history.
Living in Montgomery, I've had exactly one Bama fan admit that they shouldn't have gotten the rematch.
Cheering during the Kick-Six didn't bother me at all.

I was at the game. The grumps where scared to death that LSU was going to finally show up to the game. Best team that Year for sure.

Yep. But it didn't happen. Thanks for helping us remember that Alabama destroyed and embarrassed LSU in New Orleans on 1-9-12. Are you planning an anniversary party?
