He has been bashing him for years, now he is supporting him. GG really is a snake in the grass, much more so than JA.

This. I thought everyone on this site hated GG because he was critical of CLM, loved Saban, hated LSU, etc? Now half you guys are agreeing with him. Do you really think GG is so objective that he would defend Miles? or do you think he's just stirring up shite and trying to exploit the situation?

I don't know if JA is right or wrong, good or bad, competent or incompetent. But I do know GG is no friend, supporter or defender of CLM so his opinion should be worthless.

GG wants Miles to stay so he can continue to bash Miles and the Program if he loses another game.

GG also knows idiots from The Rant will give him tons of clicks is this pattern holds true.

Didn't read all 7 pages so it may have already been asked, but is hiring two football coaches that lose at fricking Duke that big of an indictment? Does he not get credit for hiring a coach that actually wins af Duke, which is fairly amazing?

You want to give Alleva credit for fundraising?

He deserves at least a little credit. He's the face of the Athletic Department - he's the one out there shaking hands, kissing babies and building relationships with and trust in the donors and boosters. You think people would be coughing up millions just for the frick of it if they didn't trust in the AD and his vision?

I evaluate Miles as :
Recruiter 9.5
Coach 7.5 / 8.0
Person 8.5/9.0 do not know him, based on stories
Hiring ability 7.5 (coaches)

Having said this, I think a lot of the problem is Alleva
From a business perspective, I would allow him to coach 2016.
If nothing else, his buyout is lowered considerably AND there are too many schools right now looking for coaches.

So GG bashes Miles and his program at every turn for the past 11 years and when it looks like Miles is about to get canned, Guilbeau comes running to his defense? Interesting.

He has not been in Miles' corner, which may, in a way, give more credibility to his current position.

Why though? When we can change course for the better right now?

They also are in the toughest division of the toughest conference to win, and they are almost bankrupt!

The thing about Chavis's d was that you could power over them, over and over for first downs, like we did to Tenn, and Bama did to us.
