I've noticed that too. Not a lot, but if it's enough to notice, it's unacceptable.

It's kind of like the N.O. Saints. Lots of fans now that they're winning. I've never been a fan of theirs and never will, home state team be damned. Too many years of losing for me to just jump on that bandwagon.

I can tell you one thing, Bama can win the BCS for the next 50 years and I still won't be a fan.

Before the year 2008 I did not see one Alabama bumper sticker, t-shirt, or sign. So make your judgement.

I think they must be Tulane fans that now follow Alabama since the our rivalry has died out. Just a theory though.

Those are just bandwagon fans that are insecure and have low self-esteem. They constantly change their allegiance to the team that is currently the most successful. It makes them feel better about themselves because when their team is successful it makes them feel successful. They are just trying to fill that empty void in their life of amounting to something.

And this is true. I have some Tulane fans neighbors that are now pulling for Alabama.

Went to this fall carnival Thursday night at our kids school.
I ran across this couple in line that had a Alabama pullover on, so of course I had to say so something.

Long story short, husband attended some juco in mississippi few years ago and wife never stepped foot in a college classroom.

I think this is your typical Louisana bama fan.

While I am a Bama grad and huge fan (live in Ala) I would wholeheartedly agree with what you say here about bandwagon fans

Duke has a national fan base, I'll accept that.

Two grandchildren in New Iberia - lots of red "a" t shirts at soccer and basketball games - usually with quite a few trash tags - nice lookin' wimmen. Volley Ball game at St. Tommie More a couple of weeks ago and quite a few red "ull" and "a" t shirts at a local eatery. I guess they have to cheer for the the anti-LSU - not much else for those folks over there to get excited about.

I have seen a large increase in the number of cars driving around Livingston Parish with Alabama tags, window stickers, etc.......I never realized that the LP had such a large University of Alabama alumni base

I am probably one of them you see, though to be fair I went through years with Dubose and Shula as our coach so I've paid my dues.

I always question anyone I see in the BR area that has Bama gear on. if they fail simple questions,I just assume they're bandwagon fans and end the conversation early. that shite is annoying and I have no respect for them

A family this morning showed up at my church in Vernon Parish with their Bama outfits with scripted "A's". The parents and kids, I've never noticed them before today but I would have if they had worn that before. I've never seen anyone wear any college gear to this church on a Sunday. Pretty classy huh? I wonder if they still had on their clothes from last night or if they decided to wear that today. Great timing and just Wow!
