GridIron Club Comment Towards Les

Probably Germans but....
Thoughts on CLM walking out of GridIron Club luncheon on Friday after one of the members asked him if he had his watch with him.
I think the guy was probably kidding...but dang....you'd think Miles would have a little thicker skin.
Guy that asked the question was asked to leave.

Coach who makes 4 mil a year should perform as a coach who makes 4 mil a year. When they don't, they need to except some backlash.

Did this really happen, or was it a rumor? There was a thread on here about it that got whacked, so I figured it was just somebody making a story up to try to sound cool.

Yes it the frick was, do you think Les has to take time from his day to pit up with that idiots abuse?
Les could tell them to get fricked and never go back.
I am willing to bet Les would more than happy to do something more productive or maybe spend that time with a family member.

the money they donate goes to his assistant coaches. He puts up with them for the money they donate
It isn't a group Les should piss off IMO. He should have given a real answer and then say that he didn't want to talk about it after that

the original question was "spicy" but not out of line. The follow up comment by the member was completely out of line and juvenile. Pretty sure the d-bag likes to post on the rant.

The idiocy of some of our so-called fans never ceases to amaze me.
All some of these dumbasses know is to try to blame Miles after every single thing that doesn't go the way they want it to go.
First, we all knew that this team was young and inexperienced with a depth issue in certain positions. We all knew this going into this season.
Second, we all knew that the SEC had given LSU the shaft regarding scheduling. LSU had one of the most difficult schedules in the country. We all knew this going into this season.
Now, here we sit with 2 losses and a 7-2 record going into Bama. Our 2 losses are both on the road and by 3 points each. LSU has 2 losses by a total of 6 points. LSU still has a probability of a very good season and a high final national ranking.
So instead of supporting this coaching staff while they do the best they can with this very talented but very young team, some "fans" think that acting like a fool is going to change anything?
Some people need to grow up and learn how to deal with reality and avoid what their favorite little coach used to call "Catastrophe Syndrome".

That isn't the time or the place to try to embarass the coach. And that is all it was, a gotcha question in front of a lot of LSU supporters.

Miles has clock managment issues and we all know it and he admitted he screwed up in this game regarding the time out. Should he have walked out? No, but what exactly did the questioner hope to accomplish with a comment like that? He should have just said, "hey Les you suck."

as a matter of fact yes i do. He gets paid to answer those kinds of questions. And the question was very legitimate.
