1 - the drive from Milwaukee had about 15 miles of construction once you reach Sheboygan

2 - Some of the nicest people I've ever met

3 - The beer is still some of the best around

4 - The weather is amazing

It's great to travel every once in a while to experience different cultures. Send that weather here

Some of the people that don't like the NFL because all the fans are assholes should catch a packer game at Lambeau. It would change their opinion.

People from Wisky are notoriously rude, but they like to party so it evens out.

So there's not much construction on that stretch from Milwaukee to Green Bay then

More details on #1 please! Interstate one lane? Before or after Sheboygan? Any viable detour/alternate route?

Really? I've met two people from Wisc. My ex neighbors.... and they were different. I couldn't put my finger on it... they weren't dicks, but they certainly weren't from S Louisiana either...

My grandmothers side of the family is from Wisconsin. My grandmother graduated from UW and met my grandfather in the Airforce and moved down to NOLA and the rest is history. They are extremely nice people and tons of craft beers here. Had some brats last night. Weather is a rough 65 degrees lol. Corn fields everywhere. Half our crew are UW fans, but we all just want to see our teams play well. Geaux Tigers!

Traffic was awful getting there from milw. Talking to locals, they said its been that way. There is a stretch of about 15 miles of one lane.

It just goes down to one lane, slows down to a crawl once or twice. Nothing you can do about it really. It'll be that way in both directions, fwiw.

Locals are saying they think Green Bay businesses will make twice this game that what they make when the Packers play. They are impressed with the LSU turnout.
