Our recent TE offer, the addition of Canada and the possibility of utilizing more TE play in our offense had me thinking.

1. David Lafleur
2. Richard Dickson
3. Robert Royal
4. Nicky Savoie
5. David Jones

I'm just thinking of the TEs I've seen.

Who you got?

Not saying Deangelo deserves to be top 5, but man the double reverse against Bama a few years ago is still one of my favorite plays that I have seen a TE here make

He was an offensive linemen until his senior year and even then he rarely did much. Excellent blocking TE though.

Edit : Actually his junior year he was moved to TE I just looked it up.

If you rewatch the play he gets bumped out of bounds inside the 5. He easily could have scored. That guy had soooo much potential. Just never translated into plays.

Greg Lafleur should be in the discussion if some of these other guys were.

Lets not forget Billy Masters. Was a tight end but lined up as an H back a lot. He had a lot of talent and produced when called on. Catch in the end zone on tipped pass from Billy Ezell for the win against Ole Miss was classic.
