Thank you for posting this. I was in Tiger Stadium on the Saturday night after my mom passed away in 2000 (the OT win over Tennessee). I suspect this beautiful image is meaningful to a good many of us on this board who have lost a parent.

There's alot about Coach Miles that makes me mad... and things i don't understand... But there is not a better human being coaching in football today.

I didn't want to go to the grocery store after my dad died. Didn't want to see anyone I knew. When you are among strangers it is easier. When people you care about are nice to you, it will break you down.. choke you up...


Guy is goofy as all get out but he is a class act. I have great respect for Leslie Edwin. Martha Miles did a good job on her son.

Those boys played with a lot of heart for a man they obviously respect and admire.

GREAT PIC!!! Hurts.
