That's all I saw was a sea of rebel flags.

I'm pretty sure that would have been in Jackson.
We used to never play in Oxford.

Remember this; road wins were rare the time I believe. ELP rocked the assembly center that night with Works II tour!

Ensminger needs to teach Mett how to throw on the run.

That was in Jackson and Fourcade was QB at Ole Miss and Ensminger was QB at LSU.

Wow ... nice blast from the past.
- hot blonde at 2:51, followed by the "Rocky" halftime show
- liked the crushing sack at about 5:46
some things change ... some stay the same ...
thanks for posting.

Fourcade wasn't there in '77.

Tim Ellis and Bobby garner was Ole Miss's QB. This was a year before Fourcade. Remember, Ole Miss lost this game when Tim Ellis was running wide open down the sideline with no one in persuit and for some reason stepped out of bound forcing a FG which they missed just before halftime.

Would be Tim Ellis or Bobby Garner. Never heard of either.

I remember watching that game as a kid with my buddy whose parents were big Ole Miss fans. He was talking all kind of trash in the first half.

Was at that game, what a come back. OM almost scored to tie it up. but one of the greatest timed hits in the back of the EZ, in all of LSU history broke it up.

I used to remember it as being Moreau who made the hit, but my old room mate says it wasn't. Kind of hazy, a Wild Turkey front passed through that day.

Was it at the Memorial Stadium where JSU plays home games?
Great video.

yep .. every year back then there would be either an lsu-ole miss/alabama-mississippi state or lsu-mississippi state/alabama-ole miss doubleheader in jackson ..
