I know we have all beat up on Gray this season but he played a good game last night and Bridgewater really gave us some good minutes off the bench last night.

to be fair, bridgewater played great in his first stint in, but not so great when Martin went out with 4 fouls.

The "2nd team" if you will was responsible for igniting a spark and bringing us back in the first half though!

Are we talking about former pornstar Sasha Grey or are we talking about Josh Gray here.
Regardless, Gray once again made several attempts to get to the rim and was reminded again that this isnt' juco. And he still can't shoot.

Not sure what game you were watching, but Bridgewater played great when Martin wasn't in the game. He was the only one, IMO, who played worth a shite

I was at the game last night. He played awesome when he went in in the first half, best I've seen him play so far. But tell me what he did in the second half? I thought he disappeared. But I would MUCH rather see WAY more Bridgewater than any more Malone

I was glad that Gray played under control last night which has been his biggest issue and he made the extra pass last night instead of forcing a bad shot. Bridgewater made some very nice moves and really used his muscle to move the Aggies off the boards. He certainly played much better than Martin

I figure it might be a consequence of being the biggest guy on the floor, but man, they just don't call fouls against people when they are on him.

Gray had a solid game, and Bridgewater played his best game of the year, although clearly a liability on defense without a 7-footer in there to help. Solid play though.

Hornsby had a great first half. Too many jump shots for the team overall.

I still wish Hornsby would have taken that open 3 in corner down by 2. He was open

Overreact much? Let's not lose our mind here. Bridgewater had a very nice game. His best as an LSU Tiger. But he his generally a HUGE liability in the post. You just can't consistently compete underneath at 6'4" with guys who are all 6'7" and above.

Very true. Need to stop trying to drive in on a 6-10 athlete when he's 6'0 himself. Mickey crapped the bed with a bad game, although for the season he's been our best player.

He had 3-4 rebounds. Got to the foul line and went 1-2. Had the nice hook shot in the lane and nailed an 18 footer from the elbow.

I'd say he played pretty well for a bench guy when Martin was out in the second half.

This is why Tigerdroppings is so hard to read sometimes. At least look at stats if you're going to post about them.

Bridgewater played 16 minutes and had 6 rebounds and 9 points. He was 4/4 from the field, as well. By comparison, Mickey had 4 rebounds and 6 points. Bridge had 4 rebounds at half and 4 points. Considering he played 16 minutes, I'd say 9 and 6 were legit. Especially since he led our team in rebounding last night

I normally post maybe 3-4 times after a loss because I don't want to argue with people.

Gotta pick your battles.

Apparently, it is a little too difficult for you to read. The guy knocked BB's second half performance so I posted some quick highlights of his second half...Not his stats for the whole game.

Either way, we're on the same side. He played really well.

I was glancing, and everyone is shitting on all our players so I was in defense mode. My fault

No worries. Like I said, we're on the same page. I've seen you post about BBall before, you know your shite.

ETA: I don't know how these guys weren't impressed with BB after that hook in the lane and 18 footer.
