The top scoring offenses in school history
#1) 2007 38.6ppg
#2) 2011 35.7ppg
#4) 2006 33.7ppg

*2013 currently at 45.5ppg
*2003 is #3 at 33.9ppg

After this season we will be saying that Les Miles has produced four of the top five scoring offenses in school history with FOUR DIFFERENT OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS.

How many of these were special team and defensive TD's? Just wondering.

2011 had easily one defensive ST touchdown a game for the most part

not surprising since offense nation wide is way up, and it is easier for the offense to score

You're right, that list is now discredited, Miles sucks.

Do you feel better now?

Oh... big man just e-slapped me. You really put me in my place, I am sorry.

Your post was actually a reasonable one, but you are too dumb to see that the other two were trolling in their attempt to discredit 2011.

Oregon - 7
WVU - 14
UK - 7
Auburn - 7
Ole Miss - 14
Arkansas - 7
UGA - 14

Man that D was sick

So 30.7 if you take away the defense and ST scores

well you started a thread and someone made a harmless and valid countrerpoint. He wasn't a dick about it, yet you decided to respond like someone stole your ice cream cone

I was thinking the same thing while our beloved LSU Tigers were scorching that Bama D in the National Championship.

its a valid point. The D/ST accounted for at least 50 points in 2011. Incredibly impressive

The offense still averaged about 31/game

So how does that compare to every other season when you subtract defensive/st touchdowns?

Also, those non-offensive TDs means the offense gets less touches per game.

Didn't we lead the country in turnovers? TM7 was one of a kind

true, but LSU had a ridiculous average starting field position in 2011...large part to the D and ST

So you are going to point to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game to demonstrate how bad our coach is. Tell me who the best offensive and defensive coaches in the country are and I can find games where they failed.

I'm a miles supporter but it is silly to imply the offenses scored all those points. I mean the offense in 2011 was really not impressive at all. We had a lot of defense scores, tm7 turnovers, long arse brad wing punts.

Even if you take 2011 out, we will still be saying that Mile had 3 of the top 4 with 3 different OCs by season's end.

Our offensive line was pretty dominant in 2011. We struggled against Bama and UGA
