I had to leave my home mid-way through the 3rd quarter the other night, so I finished the game by listening to it on the radio. This was the first time that I have heard the new lineup on the radio, and in my opinion Gordy is the finest color analyst that I have heard. He did a great job Saturday night by explaining the defensive sets and what Chavis mind-set was in each situation and what he was trying to accomplish.

Gordy's damn good at what he does. Is Moreau ever coming back? Seems less likely the further this goes on.

Listened to it on 98.1 Really appreciated his Insight and Knowledge of the Game. Hope he stays.

As long as Jim Hawthorne is on there it will be like listening to a 80 year old whore who is negative and resentful about everything in her life. He is the worst play by play man in the SEC, negative, no excitement, not a homer, boring to listen to all the time. Not even pro LSU, listen to the other play by play people, they excite you listenting to their team. Not Hawthorne. I can't believe he keeps his job. Gordy is a good color guy. He has done really well for a guy who ran down on kickoffs.

I had the same experience. Caught it on Sirius. I didn't even realize Moreau was gone.
