Said he takes 100% of the blame as an organizer and apologizes to those who were upset about how it went. It's a shame, because this could be an awesome event especially with how eager we are for football season.

Is he going to refund people's money?

"Certainly there was a want for more space. Next year, they are looking forward to the challenge of Taste of Tiger Tailgating 2016 and will fight like hell to host a quality event."

PMAC was too small for the event, and it was basically a nightmare.

Usually when someone says something was their responsibility, not much happens.

Venue was WAYYYY too small and plenty of people were upset and wanted money back which is understandable. We were stopped by at least a dozen people told us to go home basically.

Why not just have it in Tiger Stadium and pray for no rain?

Why do people feel they should get their money back?
If they were deprived of an opportunity to get in or to have any refreshments, they have a point.
But if it was just inconvenient, that's just whining.
How bad was it?

It was on the floor of the pmac, there was no way to get around. It took one hour for many to get in, and once inside, you couldn't visit any of the booths. They had one entrance open, two doors for most of the time, then finally a third door opened in the same place. It was pretty much the worst iteration of the event in 16 years. They have been addressing it all day on the local shows because it was a disaster.

From what I heard expecting money back is a legit complaint.

I was thinking it would be cool to have it fenced off around the PMAC and have it inside and outside by Mikes Habitat and that whole area,

I'm not a money back kind of person, but if ever it was warranted, this would be it. It was just the wrong kind of venue for something like this. Perhaps the space could have been used better, like the concourses and the floor, but basically using just the floor and trying to pack, I don't know ~1000-2000 people on it was not a good idea.

The only drink I could actually get my hands on was some new beverage designed to LOWER my blood alcohol content.

I left after 15 minutes.
