Good Article in Claiborne's Defense. Reflects what most here think.

Good read. When I saw Fox i almost didn't read. Has anyone on this board ever heard of Mo. C's learning disability.

Yeah, I'm typically not a fan of their online content, but this one wasn't too terrible. Whitlock really is the worst, though.

I saw an ESPN article yesterday, which I couldn't find just now to link, that stated that the author of the test found that there was actually an inverse proportion to player success regarding cornerbacks - the lower scores historically have performed better. Thought that was interesting. It doesn't matter either way; Mo is a class act.

"For defensive backs, it was the most pronounced; basically, the lower you scored on the Wonderlic, the better you performed."

LINK

Here it is.

Saw that as well, but I believe the part I read was a joint study by UGA and Towson, among others. But interesting (and not all that shocking) nonetheless. Especially among corners. Do you ever remember Deion going into a defensive huddle, because all I remember was him waiting out there by himself dancing around, etc.

Oh, and Marino's 16 certainly doesn't seem to reflect on his ability to make quick decisions to go along with his quick release.

Bottom line, though, suggestions about one's intelligence, or lack-there-of, should not be made public. The young man is clearly intelligent and more importantly, he seems to have character.

Sorry, I shouldn't talk so much!

Should we start a 100 page thread entitled that? Or would it be sabotaged?

There was a joke when Sehorn played corner for the Giants - while huddled up they would yell out to him, "Hey, white boy? You don't want to hang out with us?" - because corners in lots of systems don't come in to the huddle on most plays - they get the plays from the sideline signals just like the Mike (or free safety if he's making the calls) - and the Mike also makes the pre-snap adjustments, including the secondary, either audibly, or with hand signals.

Some schemes they huddle everybody, but many do not huddle the corners and some even do not huddle the safeties.
