No, you can bring a cooler in at any gate. Best if it's a soft cooler, but most fans that own rigs bring Yetis of some sort. The only stipulation is that they make you open it up and beer can not be visible, but we always just throw a shirt over everything and they give zero fricks.

Damn.

This makes me miss the Old Box.

I'd go out the gate behind left field, get me a beer and walk back inside.

Fun times.

Any additional tips on parking, dining with kids, tickets, etc would be much appreciated.

If you wear false teeth, don't bring them. You could get robbed.

I am in Starkville now...last night was a lot of fun. I didn't read all of this thread, but they have general admission tickets for $10 that are not bad at all. I would buy the print-at-home version of that rather than stubhub or anything like that. It is generally no problem to get these tickets, but I would be a little careful with the Saturday game, as it may very well be the last game ever played at the current field.

If you have any specific questions at all, just let me know.

Driving from Baton Rouge for 1 game?

The last time I was there was the 2003 football game.

The only time I was there was for the 1986 football game. (Arnsparger HC. Sugar Bowl on the line)

Never been back and have no desire to ever go there again!

Starkpatch is strictly die-hard Lump territory!
