Hwathorne said no matter who wins tonight, Bama or USC, they have both saved their aces for tomorrow nights game. We don't handle aces too well.

bama is pitching their left handed starter tonight. south carolina's ace is a right handed pitcher but they do have a freshman left handed starter, which i imagine would start against us if they lose tonight

Maybe, because he pitches on Friday?

If you are the #1, you are going to face the #1.

Well LSU would have the advantage, regardless of who loses.. they will have very little time to rest. And this game might go into extras (5-5 bottom 9 at the moment)

LSU beat the Gumps 8-5 in the Friday night game in Tuscaloser earlier in the season, same pitching matchup as today and if I remember right we hit Hyatt fairly well.

Dont we have our Ace going tonight to? I like to think looking back on the last 12 friday nights, that other teams had trouble with OUR Ace as well.

At 1:30pm. We really have 2 aces, Ranaudo and Coleman. Since we lost, I hope Coleman pitches (more consistant than Ranaudo and a more "shutdown" pitcher) so we can get a win under our belt.
