An X-ray result to Mills’ ankle on Wednesday night returned positive results, a source said. The hope is for Mills to return by the third game of the season, LSU’s highly anticipated showdown in Tiger Stadium against Auburn, a source said.

just a sprain. Jim Kleinpeter was more worried about being first than he was about being right.

Mills playing against Auburn would be as good as we could have hoped for after the initial news. 4-week recovery, let's hope that's the way it turns out.

When speaking of X-rays the term positive is not usually a good term. When they say positive does that mean there is a break or that the news is good and it's not as bad as first thought?

It's good when X-rays are negative.

I would almost rather a small fracture than a sprain. A sprain could linger all year.

That's exactly what I've been thinking, too.

It says positive results........ Not a postive x-ray. Two COMPLETELY different things. Positive results as in, the injury isnt major and he should be fine

Yeah. That was either poorly worded by the writer or that was all he got from his source. Could mean positive as in "good news" or positive as in "positive for a fracture".

Not sure why this is important when you have a very explicit timetable reported.

Kleinpeter was the one last year who made everyone freak out when he said trey L's arm was amputated

Blows my mind how anyone listens to anything that guy says
