Giving CPM a 50% raise last year and contract through 2024 was ridiculous

Well, speaking of shite for brains. Where is JohnnyU? He says the threat of Manieri going to Austin was a real threat and Alleva had to do something. I vote for helping arrange a UHaul to Austin for Manieri and JohnnyU.

To be fair last year was probably his best coaching job besides the national championship year. Replacing that many starters and still meningitis a top 8 seed was good no matter how you feel about the man. This year he needs to figure something out.

It's crazy how Mainieri's tenure is playing out just like Miles' did.
An NC early in his tenure and then lots of wins but no championships since.
Mainieri is winning with defense but offense is struggling.
He is surrounding himself with yes man assistants.
Great recruiting classes but they don't play up to their potential.
Gets a high dollar long term contract so it's costly to make a change.
I'm seeing a trend here.
