I'm really worried about this game. I have a bias, because I don't want to live with 365 days of taunts if we lose , but I think this UF team will be a tough match-up. Their DB's are good enough to match-up one on one and allow them to stack the box.
1. Healthy JD Moore to help open holes.
2. Better pass protection. Receivers creating separation for Harris
3. MORE play action.
4. Use Tight Ends.
5. Better play (smart decisions) from Harris

THIS scares me the most .....
"If the Gators' defense can contain the 6-foot-1, 230-pound man-child, LSU will have to turn to sophomore quarterback Brandon Harris and the SEC's least-productive passing offense. The Tigers have SEC lows in average passing yards (122) and touchdown throws (four).
Harris has fewer pass attempts than any starting quarterback in the SEC other than Perry Orth for struggling South Carolina, which is winless during four conference games."

2.) key to the equipment room so they can have pads to play in

3.) key to vehicles so that coaches and players can make it to the game

4.) key to the stadium so we can get players into the game

5.) key to bathroom so we can keep our piss balloons in stock

1. No turnovers
2. Effective run game (keep LF fresh for the 4th, bring in Williams and Guice early and often)
3. Force 3rd and longs (let thy Valley shake)
4. Convert 3rd downs.
5. Special teams. (Literally has to improve at everywhere)

1. Dillion Gordon needs to start over Jeter
2. Special teams needs to at least play equal to Florida's
3. At least 60% of the plays need to go to Fournette/Guice/Williams
4. Mills needs to be the nickel guy IF he's 100%
5. Defense needs to put pressure on Grier early

For me it's two things, if LSU can get pressure on Grier early and often he won't get settled in as the day goes on and LSU needs to control the clock more so the Bama/Ole Miss type games of grinding out the running game and opening up the box through play action.

So did we just increase our passing ypg from 88ypg to 122ypg with the USCe game? If so, that is phenomenal.

Grier has been sacked the 2nd most in the SEC so far. LSU d-Line v UF O-Line could be one of the big keys.

I was more worried about that before the USCe game. There was obvious improvement. BH and these receivers showed that they can potentially beat you if you sell out on the run. Despite our struggles, defenses will have to respect Chi and Dural moving forward. But I don't think they will be able to stop LF7 and company for four quarters (no one can).
