So many negative posters! Where were you during Les Miles' last 3 years when LSU was spiraling downhill. Stevie Wonder could see that Miles' time had faded...he was, in my opinion, the luckiest head coach to ever blow a whistle. His penchant for recruiting talent carried him to success but his inability to develop players and recruit a top--notch quarterback was his downfall..He thought that folks here loved him so much they would keep him forever but, Bye Bye Les you left us in a mess! Now Coach O is being blasted for losing one game in a very hostile environment with a depleted line on both sides of the ball and a few receivers who can't catch a cold.
Shame on you Haters...

A team should be judged by their progression during a season. Let's see if there is improvement in all phases. If they mature as a team, One team- One heartbeat, as Coach O says, we will be fine...It's called growing pains.

No one expected championships right off the bat, but I think everyone agrees the reason a coaching change was made was to take us from the 9 win type program we had become under Miles back to the title contending program we were prior to those years.

What no one mentioned until this week is that O should be given a pass for taking us to a level below even where Miles had us. Maybe they bounce back and the season isn't tanked, the SEC is incredibly weak after all, but some people are just calling bullshite on that thought process.

95% of these fans have been pulling for O to lose since he's been hired. They're mostly Miles worshipers and not LSU fans. We lost 1 fricking game but if you read these posts you'd think we are sitting at 5-6 right now. When's the last time we went undefeated? Miles started 2-1 just like O with his first game being a loss that the refs gave to us and his second game blowing a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter which is even worse than what happened Saturday. Saban lost to UAB his first season. Yet to these ppl somehow this 2-1 start is different and coach O has already destroyed the program. They're opinions are pathetic and ignorant and are filled with double standard comparisons. You'll see them saying Miles left us with great talent in one sentence then in the very next they'll say our players are not that good and it's Os fault lol. All this melt is doing is exposing the portion of the fanbase that other SEC schools consider the laughing stock of college football and rightfully so. Don't lose faith though Tiger Rant is mostly whiney ignorant idiots they don't represent the actual fanbase's overall attitude. They only represent the anonomous angry dark room internet losers everyone makes jokes about.

Believe me, these guys didn't get to the next level because of Miles. Their talent carried them there and that's why Les won so many games- because of the raw talent. Notice he couldn't win the big ones with consistency? Notice he isn't into coaching anymore? 'Nuff said!

Welcome to the SEC Ed. Did you not know Starkville was going to be tough? You know one over comes a depleted line & bad receivers? It's called coaching.

Great news! Now simply losing, as opposed to losing in historic fashion like last weekend, can be seen as sufficient.

Where were the negative tigers ? Are you serious right now? They have been calling for his head on a platter since 21-0. They melted the scoreboard during games we won with ease. They have made life miserable for the rest of us on this site. They go to SEC Rant and embaress tiger fans with all their crying. If you didn't see them then you are new here.

And MS could end up being a great team this year, better than the '14 team that dominated us at home even though we made a comeback. Or we could be as bad as we looked Saturday.

I think it is a combination of a bunch of small issues. Can't just blame it on O but can't give him a pass either. Some issues can be blamed on what Miles left him. I'm not jumping ship yet. Let's see how it plays out. Might be a bumpy ride but the UF game will tell us if he is making progress. I expect this team to improve significantly throughout the season. Probably not enough to beat Bama but as long as there aren't any more blowouts I'll be satisfied.

Boo, sunshine pumper!

This was not a good hire. Doesn't mean I love LSU less than you.

If this was really as bad as we saw on Saturday and Ed knew it, he could have tempered expectations before now. That or it's that he has no clue or is delusional about the level of talent and depth in this team. Which one is it?

I'm no miles worshipper. The program was getting stale, but also blasted this hire. Quit trying to find any good in this hire. There is 0.,

Here you have the classic Coach Ogre apologist, folks. Forget the results on the field (this year and his entire career as the man running the program). It is.... stay with me... it is the fans' fault. That's right. Please don't look directly into the scoreboard. Don't look behind the curtain. Please, instead, focus on the people upset about the product we've been sold.
