People bitch about some of our top talent leaving the state all the time...so now that the coach say "hell with em," it's a problem?

“One of the guys on the board, one of the board of trustees guys (at LSU) … you won’t be able to put this on the thing … like these people around here sitting up on the stage, at LSU, is walking down the street yesterday before the Sugar Bowl.

“He calls me, there was a guy working in a ditch, one of those coon-arse guys, that talk funny. I can’t talk like them, but he (the LSU trustee) can, most people in Louisiana can, and he (guy in ditch) says, (Saban imitating cajun accent) ‘Hey, you see that Coach Saban signed up with Alabama?’ … however they talk … (returns to cajun accent) ‘that son of a b—-, i feel like he’s (expletive) my wife.”

Les needs to keep his mouth shut on Louisiana kids we've had to put in overtime work for the disrespect he's shown the N Louisiana Kids.
WTF are you talking about?

so after a game where Harris couldnt even get the Offense lined up right, you think Les should just continue to keep him in and JLee him?

Maybe being a fan of LSU just isnt for you. Why dont you just move to Bama and suck on their dicks.

Les Miles meant what he said and said what he meant it's about LSU 100 percent. To me all that Les was saying was that once a recruit has decided to go somewhere other than LSU then that recruit was no longer of any interest to LSU; Les is correct. I get sick of hearing about Robinson, Noil, Collins, etc. I do not care about the careers of these people. It is nothing personal; I am just not interested in the affairs of Alabama, Florida, etc. As the Duke said, "Never apologize; it is a sign of weakness." The Duke was right and so is Les. We need to focus on the players who came to LSU.

Sir you showed no attempt to be politically correct.

And I absolutely love it. You are 100% correct.

There is actually video of Les Miles meeting with a Louisiana recruit after recruit informed Miles that he has been a silent commit to another SEC school and has been helping them recruit in Louisiana. Warning its not pretty.

"You're nothing to me now."

Right on. I agree with most of this. The only part I don't agree with is the statement that it is not personal. Often times these players make it personal. The most recent example was Speedy Noil leading the overrated chant against Ben Simmons at the Sugar Bowl prep basketball tournament.

No school in the country can offer a Louisiana recruit more opportunity than LSU can. So I agree with Les that if a Louisiana player has an LSU offer in hand and goes out of state to a rival school: to hell with you for spurning your home state and home team.

Oh yeah, and to any Louisiana player who goes elsewhere: own your decision and don't cry like a girl on twitter or other social media outlets when people of Louisiana don't embrace you with open arms. Decisions have consequences.

OMG - the HORROR! I bet MILLIONS of people saw this horrible act of treason and formed a negative opinion about LSU. The millions who were attending the Sugar Bowl prep basketball tournament...

You're comparing the judgment and behavior of a teenager with that of a 61-year-old man who is paid millions to represent LSU; indeed, the football coach is the most prominent public face of the school.

Got you. By all means, carry on.
