Anyone following the softball game on "gametracker"? I am hoping it's the LSU girls in front 1-0 and not Texas. They have LSU at the top in the inning box and shows Texas ahead, but everything on play by play shows LSU ahead. They also have us in orange and Texas inj purple.

Stats say Brittany Mack is pitching? Never heard of her..then again i dont follow softball that closely. I know Fico and Shortridge.

Mack was a legit freshman last year before she got hurt. Should help a lot in the circle this season.

Should be a solid 3 pitchers with Fico,Shortridge and Mack.

Fico from Connecticut.
She did well yesterday but another freshmen who pitches for Texas pitched an 8 inning no-hitter. Thet texas pitcher is now in the game for Texas.

Fico. She was the losing pitcher yesterday in the doubleheader.

It's Connecticut and you must be referring to Rachele Fico. She pitched the 1st game and had a solid outing, but the offense didn't give her run support and she took the 1-0 loss. She went head to head with UNC's 2-time All American pitcher in Danielle Spaulding. LSU stranded 10 batters in that game But they bounced back against DePaul and won 4-1.

Oh and yes LSU is winning 1-0 against Texas so far. Gametracker has been full of glitches all weekend so far.

There must be something in the water in Baton Rouge. None of the teams seem to be able to finish strong. Our FB team, Our BB teams, men and women. Mack was cruising and in the top of the 7th gave up 2 run on 2 hits. I am puzzled. On top of that they are facing the freshmen who pitched a no-hitter yesterday and so far in 2 innings she pitched against us she has SO 4 going to the bottom of the 7th and behind 2-1.

The Texas freshman, Luna, struck out the last 6 hitters she faced. The girls need some direction in hitting. They are too talented but it is early. Looks like Texas will be a force for at least the next 4 years with 2 freshmen pitching greats.
