No. Okeke had the most potential out of all of them. He was/is the only true LT that we had that could legitimately be a NFL LT.

He just couldn't learn the position.

I will go out on a limb here and say that none of the offensive linemen who transferred out will do much at all other than the one boned headed one that just left of which I won't even mention his name!

Good question about the freshman. Several guys appear to be talented but are any ready to play now?

LINK

George Brown isn't even starting this year for Miami. They are starting a senior at LT and junior at RT. He's in a battle for the #2 spot at RT now after getting beat out by a true freshman for the #2 LT spot. Keep in mind this is his 2nd season there, he transferred there before last season started. In an article I read he isn't even really mentioned at all. They mention a starting 5 and then a six rotation guy.

Size alone doesn't make an O-lineman.

My understanding is that Okeke just didn't have the temperament to play in the trenches. Better suited to play chess.

He was that guy in college so he wanted to transfer because he wanted to start right away and now he's still riding the pine

Comments from former teammates after he transferred suggest that he lacked the drive and toughness required to be an LSU lineman.
