I don't know about the stadium itself, but one of the main roads leading to it is flooded right now.

I really hope they are able to have the game in Columbia as scheduled, but it's going to be tough.

Here is a article from weather channel. Bottled water being brought in to Students and portable bathrooms. May not have water or boil water advisory for 3 days! That town will be overwhelmed with rescue crews..

It's not just about the flooding. There are infastructure problems, emergency service, logistics and other things that are of concern also

Would be divine to gain a home game bc of weather after losing a home game bc of weather. The old Jerry Seinfeld "Even out!"

Hotel's will be full of rescue workers,
Will LSU Bring their own water? City is under a boil water advisory for possibly 3 days
Logistics?? I would think that the mayor does not want the thought of having about 100,000 fans descending into Columbia in 5 days! Call me crazy but emergency services to work the game may be needed else where!

They may be working on all the details and getting them done before an official announcement.

Absolutely. And the hotels as you mentioned. What a nightmare for these people who are dealing with it.

Or they are waiting it out until Saturday which then they'll eventually cancel it. I will kill a buffalo if they stop LF from breaking more records!!!!

Exactly.

Currently, there are upwards of 800 bridges that must now get re-inspected as well as significant pavement failures throughout the state. Moving around will be very difficult for a while.

The emergency personnel can't even mobilize from their hotels right now....

If this is the way Columbia looked yesterday, hard to imagine everything would be good to go by Saturday.

That ain't good. Especially when they are saying that the river is about to supply some more. Damn

3 hours. Would make much more sense to have it in Charlotte, only a little over an hour from Columbia.

This will be the deciding factor. Field and roads may be fine in 5 days, but if they are still having sewer issues and hotels are full of evacuees, there's no choice.
