So for our regional, ULL is going to be the 3-seed, the SWAC champ (unless a team like ULM, Tech, McNeese, etc. wins their conference tourney) will be the 4. Committee will probably give us a tough 2 seed.

i'll appreciate the irony if they go through the conference tournament and get sent here as a 4 seed...
after they get knocked out
for the big boost they supposedly got from beating us, i'm interested to see how they follow it up in the years to come...

I don't think it will be program changing for them.
What happened to them last season was literally the perfect storm.
– A veteran team
– two legit pro prospects in Jankowski and Carmona.
– 2 good pitchers compared to other AEC teams that allowed them to coast through the season.
– Put in a regional hosted by a team that couldn't hit (Miami)
– Put in a super regional hosted by a team that couldn't hit and their 2 best hitters (Katz & Rhymes) were slumping.

yeah BUT
teams from minor conferences in that area simply DON'T get above 4 seeds. EVER.
getting to Omaha is hard. even we can't go every year
they make the tournament often enough that i think they can replicate their success, even if they don't go to Omaha again
