I like his prediction, but I hope the players don't read too much into it and think oh, we got this wrapped up. I know they wont, but they will enjoy the fact that the prediction meets the goal that LSU will have to work very hard to accomplish and I do have faith...

Until I see our offensive scheme, play calling and mid game adjusting improve, I'm going to go ahead and temper my excitement of Musberger's prediction.

exactly. preseason rankings go to the media darlings (how many times have USC, Georgia, Texas, ND, OU) been over hyped in preseason polling.
i'll take a steady move up the rankings throughout the year. See 2003.
