I may have gotten off track a bit. My original point was more directed at LSU. On the Advocate.com website today we have a story about major funding issues and teacher salaries. An inch over from that article is a story about the full LSU band going to Ireland for a parade.
Regardless of what pot of money pays for the Ireland trip, whatever that money would have gone to now has to be funded from somewhere else.
I really don't care if the band takes a trip around the world. I just don't want to have to hear LSU bitch about having no money.
